Spotify API Analysis
This portion of the project will explain the coding that I produced to access Spotify’s API system and data within. The purpose of exploring the concepts to code for something lke this is to produce an output that will supply me with solid data about an artist that I can track over time.

SPOTIFY API ANALYSIS
Client ID and Client Secret are codes that are given to someone by requested permission. These are redacted for security purposes.
This sequence of code utilizes the Client ID and Client Secret to access Spotify’s API
Gets the token and authorizes the API
The constructed code communicates with the API and produces the artist’s name when prompted
Note: This was initially done with Ice Spice and replicated in the code below to search for Taylor Swift. This is a mistake on my part; all names should be consistent. When you decide to use this code, please make sure that all of your names are consistent to avoid any errors in the output.)
Produces the code for the image of the album
Communicates with the API to summon the data related to the name in quotation marks.
This is the final output. In this output, you’ll find the follower count, classified genre, code for the image, name of artist, popularity of artist , and the type of profile they are registered under.
